For weeks now we’ve been working to get my website online. Today I played with a new page for it and out of curiosity looked up a saying with an anonymous author. Here it is; Memory is the power to gather roses in winter. Nice, huh? Well, maybe not. The author is reputed to be a deceased Scottish-American psychiatrist. He worked on a mind-control experiment directed by the CIA (surprise!). Please note my info came from Wikipedia. This man’s emphasis was on “extracting information from resistant sources.” Oh holey moley! Torture. He used mind-altering drugs (LSD) and electro-shock.
According to an article in the London, England Times, 10/17/2004, he “developed techniques used by Nazi scientists to wipe out the existing personalities of people in his care.” Go to the History Channel, 7/4/2006 for a 50 minute video on this subject. Picture above came from:
I wrote this on August 12th. It still makes me think of puking – yet here it is online. Sometimes we need to look at the ugly to remind us of what we don’t like, want or aspire to, and to remind ourselves of all that is good, bright and loving in our lives.
